Important Math Documents Needed for K-12 Curriculum Work

Posted by Diana 6/28/2011 concerning the 9-12 curriculum
Note from Charlene Tate-Nichols about 9-12 curriculum in response to some of our questions on 6/27 about the Math Crosswalk for 9-12 and what CT document they used in the correlation. The answer is:
The 2005 Framework and Framework Companion, which are in the 9-12 grade band w/ Core and Extended.http://www.sde.ct.gov/sde/cwp/view.asp?a=2618&q=320872
Crosswalk: http://www.sde.ct.gov/sde/lib/sde/PDF/CCSS/Math_Grade9_12.pdf
ALSO...The CCSS HS course CLEs(the courses that she is talking about our Algebra I, Algebra II and Geometry)
are completed but not yet ready for prime time(but they should be posted by the end of the summer) Appendix A offers some suggestions for organizing the conceptual categories, but our HS RCD(Rigorous Curriculum Design) team organized the standards into those three courses and they will be out soon. Other states have their course outlines online already.(like Tyngsboro, MA:)
